Thank you for visiting Pack 629 of Roswell, GA!

Pack 629 is a Cub Scout Pack serving families with boys in 1st through 5th grade in the Roswell, GA area. We recruit from Esther Jackson Elementary, River Eves Elementary, Atlanta Academy and the surrounding neighborhoods, like Horseshoe Bend and Martins Landing. We would love to have you and your family join Cub Scouts in the Roswell, GA area by joining our pack!

We believe that by becoming an active cub scout, boys will be with the kinds of friends you would like them to have, while working with adults of good character who will be positive role models to them. Our leaders and organization teach respect for other people, respect for oneself, and respect for God and Country. We do a wide variety of age-appropriate activities which are tons of fun. We would love to have your son join us.

Feel free to contact our Cubmaster Brian Copeland (cubmaster@pack629.org) with any questions, or use the Contact Us link on the left to send us an email.

Hello Den 1!
Here are some important upcoming events.:
  • Den Meeting - September 10th from 3-4:30 pm - Fitness test and Obstacle Course Prep for Pack meeting, Assign Parent Volunteers for Stone Mountain Grocery Shopping
    • The Den meeting will take place at the Martin’s Landing Front entrance playground area. Please park near the playground and meet at the picnic tables. We will be doing a fitness test, so have the boys wear gym shorts and sneakers and a Class B shirt!
  • Pack Meeting - September 11th from 6:30-7:30 pm - Den 1 to Lead a Game. Need all hands on deck as we are responsible for a game, which will be our obstacle course requirement. Need parents to assist scouts at 5-6 stations.
    • Make sure to pay dues, get books, and get popcorn packets!
  • Stone Mountain Camping: 9/15-9/17 - Register by 9/8 on www.pack629.org
    • I will be attending with my wife Colleen and our 3 kids! Make it a family event and come on out for this fun filled weekend of camping! Will you be attending?
    • We will be cooking breakfast by our Den - Eggs in a bag on Saturday September 16th. We will save the walking taco for Spook-E-Ree as breakfast shopping, prep, and cooking was the greatest pack need.
Also, I am told that Spook-E-Ree registration will be re-opened for a short time soon, as it came and went faster than most were aware, so as soon as I know I will pass that info along!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
